Appointments
We know you have many choices when choosing a Dentist in Western NY area so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. We will always schedule adequate time to perform your treatment allowing us to achieve a high level of quality dental care. We respect our patients' time as being as important as our own and practice in a manner that keeps appointments timely and efficient. Because your appointment time is reserved for you alone, our office requires 48 hours notice for any change or cancellation to an appointment. And if there is a possibility you will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.
Insurance and Billing
Transit Valley Dental Care will work with your insurance carrier to maximize your yearly dental benefits. We are not a contracted provider with any insurance plan. This allows us to provide the best care for our patients based on their needs, not their insurance benefits. We strive to inform you of any coverage or frequency limitations on your insurance policy. Therefore, we can only provide estimates of your out of pocket expenses. It is the responsibility of each patient to know and understand their dental insurance policy thoroughly.
As a courtesy, we are happy to prepare and submit insurance claims on your behalf, saving you the time and hassle. However, if the insurance payment is sent to the subscriber, payment is due in full on date of service. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist. Your insurance carrier and plan benefits ultimately determine the amount due.
Our knowledgeable front desk staff can help you maximize your dental benefits and minimize your out of pocket costs. We will provide an estimate of your coverage and offer options for taking care of the remaining balance. All deductibles and co-shares are due and collected at time of service.
Transit Valley Dental Care does not render services on the assumption that our charges will be paid by an insurance carrier. We do not treatment plan based on your insurance coverage. If you have any questions regarding our financial guidelines, please do not hesitate to ask for our help - we will always assist you in any way possible.
Payment Options
We accept checks, cash and major credit cards, such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We also offer Care Credit, 6 and 12 month, interest free financing to help our patients afford their necessary dental treatment.
In House Dental Savings Plan
Transit Valley Dental Care offers a savings membership plan to our patients without insurance or with insurance plans that pay almost nothing. The cost for a single adult is $629.00 and includes two routine dental cleanings, two examinations/consultation, a full mouth or panoramic x-ray, bite wings, two fluoride treatments, oral evaluation with hygiene instruction, oral cancer screening, periodontal charting and one emergency examination with x-ray. In addition, members receive 20% discount on all other dental treatment. Total value of this plan for one individual is approximately $1,000.00.
